Play
Open play is how most of the club plays. Turn up during a session, put your paddle in the rack and you are in the next game with whoever is up. Games go to 11, winners stay for one more, and the rack keeps everyone moving.
Sessions are grouped by level so the games are close. If you are new, start in the all-levels sessions and ask any regular where you fit; the club rates players on the usual 2.5 to 4.5 scale and nobody minds being asked.

Monday to Friday, 8 to 11 am. All levels, with courts set aside for 3.5 and up from 9.
Tuesday and Thursday, 6 to 9 pm under the lights. Rated 3.0 and up, with a beginners' court on Tuesdays.
Saturday at 9 am, sign up by level the day before. Four games, a scoreboard and coffee afterwards.
Outside open play, members book a court for their own foursome up to seven days ahead, an hour at a time. Add the people you are playing with so everyone sees the booking, and release a court you cannot use so somebody else can take it.
No. Start in an all-levels session and play. Regulars will tell you where you fit, and the club can rate you after a few games if you want to play in the levelled sessions.
Court shoes, water and a paddle if you have one. The club keeps loaner paddles at the shed and balls are provided.
Usually one game. The paddle rack decides: next four paddles up take the next free court.
Wet courts close until they dry. Session cancellations go out by email and on the club news an hour before.
